Lori Chmura

Lori Chmura is a veteran medtech executive with over 30 years of experience leading global medical device companies. As CEO of Nyra Medical, she brings deep expertise in commercialization, clinical strategy, and operational growth. Lori has held senior leadership roles at companies including Medtronic, Covidien, and Johnson & Johnson, and previously led multiple start-ups through FDA clearances, strategic partnerships, and successful exits. She has served as Chairman of Bluewind Medical, and as a Board member at Opsens Medical (OPS). She is active in industry leadership and mentorship initiatives. Lori earned a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University.
